How to download FanTestic, how to find it on your computer, what it comes with, ASTM manual, and choosing your protocol.
Visit the Retrotec website’s Support → Software Downloads section.
Click Download next to “FanTestic (Lite/Pro/6/24)”.
Ensure your system meets requirements—Windows XP or newer, .NET 4.0, 600 MB+ disk space, 512 MB RAM, and Microsoft Word (2007+). For automatic testing, also install the DM-2 or DM-32 drivers.
Run setup.exe as Administrator.
For DM‑2 gauge users: manually install the USB driver.
For DM‑32 gauges: USB or Ethernet setup will include driver installation.
After installation, launch FanTestic via the Start Menu or desktop icon—it opens in 30-day demo mode.
Under Settings → Enter license, paste your license key (include the full ===START_KEY=== … ===END_KEY=== block).
License determines access level: number of gauges, fans, and supported standards (ASTM, ATTMA, CGSB, EN13829, ISO, USACE).
Change test standards via Settings → Change Standard Used for New Tests. You may need to restart between changes
Find the application via Start Menu → Retrotec → FanTestic.
Test files are stored in My Documents → Retrotec → Tests (*.exml format).
Generated reports (Word/Excel) appear in My Documents → Retrotec → Reports.
FanTestic includes:
